The Farm
Glanwye is a 14 acre small holding on the banks of the River Wye and has been home to 100% Hay since December 2010.
The land is split in two - with half being developed into the market garden where our chickens and ducks help keep down the slug population, and the other half remaining as permanent pasture for our Anglo-Nubian Goats.
THE 100% HAY FARM
We sell seasonal vegetables at the Hay Thursday and Saturday markets and direct from the farm by arrangement.

THE MARKET GARDEN

All the visitors to Glanwye farm, shoppers or staying guests are welcome to walk around the garden and down to the river.
OUR ANGLO NUBIAN GOATS

We have a small herd of pure bred Anglo Nubian goats which provide us with milk. We also make cheeses and are increasing our herd size so we can produce a raw milk cheese in the future.

The Anglo-Nubian goat's milk has a high average butter fat content (between four and five percent), and makes great yoghurt and cheese.
